INDIA EURASIAN TRADE COUNCIL

The Conference, aimed at fostering stronger ties with the region, took place at the Hilton Hotel in Chennai. The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Askar Zholchubekovich Beshimov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in India, who attended as the Chief Guest, accompanied by his Spouse and Trade Attaché, Mr. Azamat, from the Kyrgyzstan Embassy. The conference, designed to elucidate sectoral possibilities for enhancing business cooperation with the Eurasian region, saw the participation of notable figures. This included the Russian Consul in Chennai, Mr. Oleg N. Avdeev; Mr. Venkatachalam Murugan, the Chennai Branch Head of the Ministry of External Aff airs; among other prominent personalities from the industrial and diplomatic communities. In a significant moment during the proceedings, Dr. AV Anoop, a renowned business personality, was appointed as the Chairman of the India Eurasian Trade Council (IETC). During the ceremony, he received an official certificate of honour from the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India.
